World Hearing Day and International Noise Awareness Day 2021

World Hearing Day, 3 March 2021, has the theme Hearing Care for ALL!

This will mark the launch of the WHO World Report on Hearing, presenting a global call for action to address hearing loss and ear diseases across the world. In this year of 2021, the WHO has a massive call to action. All sectors can demonstrate their leadership by making this year’s event the largest one the world has ever seen especially for the IYS 2020-21.

Information about the campaign in many different languages and fact sheets on hearing loss are available here.

International Noise Awareness Day, April 28 2021, has the theme Protect Your Hearing, Protect Your Health!

Help raise awareness of the harmful effects of noise on hearing, health and quality of life, and inspire positive action in your community. All are encouraged to plan local noise awareness activities – only when it’s safe to do so. And make use of all the tools we have to keep in contact , such as social media, twitter etc. Activities in your region/country can be listed as contributions to IYS 2020-21.
