Les mercredis du son

Les mercredis du son (Wednesdays of sound) is a series of 4 online conferences (May 12 to June 2, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.) examining the link between sound and technology in our day life. Each topic is in the form of a simple question to reach out to a large public. They are being organized by Université de technologie de Compiègne (UTC).

These are not scientific congresses: questions are about the place of sound in the society and how technology produces, mitigates or uses the sound in our life. The public is students in science (mechanics, computer science, biology, …), engineers (not only acousticians) and the general public. It is free of charge.
